Mexican Cruises

Mexico is a beautiful and amazing country to explore. Featuring a culture both ancient and modern, the friendly people and exotic territory make Mexico a perfect destination for travelers. But probably the best method of touring the country is one of the many available Mexican Cruises.

This allows the traveler to visit multiple shoreline destinations without having to continuously book and rebook hotels every night, wondering what sort of stay you’re going to have. Instead, after a long day of exploration and adventure on the Mexican coast, you can return to your posh stateroom and retire in style.
Mexico features many coastal destination cities that will tickle your fancy.

On the Pacific coast, one has the option to explore Acapulco, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. The first, Acapulco, is an ancient fishing village that has been inhabited for 3,000 years! You can explore the 1,200 year old cave paintings on Pie de la Cuesta, or simply stroll the beach, waiting for sunset. Mazatlan, a city populated by German immigrants (responsible for the famous Pacifico beer brand), is a gorgeous city set atop rolling hills above the sea. A major port for Mexico, Mazatlan caters to many Mexican Cruises and tourists from all over the world.

It’s sandy white beaches and lush hotels are world famous. Puerto Vallarta, on the other hand, is a port town almost entirely devoted to holiday travel. Neck and neck with Cancun and Acapulco for it’s tourism trade, the city still retains it’s old time small town charm in the back streets of the Malecon, a paved walkway along the seashore.
Up on the Baja peninsula, there are the exciting cities of Ensenada, which features amazing fish tacos and some coastal vineyards to entice your palate. Down the peninsula is the spring break city of Cabo San Lucas, a favorite for those looking to cut loose or just toss a line out the bak of the boat and catch some big game fish. In the sleepy shadows of Cabo is the small fishing town of La Paz, a new destination for green tourism, with an abundance of green and eco-friendly destinations.

On the Caribbean coast, you have the beautiful cities of Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, both areas rich in history and natural riches. The entire Yucatan Peninsula is riddled with underground pools called cenotes, beckoning travelers forth for a dip while traveling through the jungle. Activities like zip-line rides through the trees and 4×4 Jeep excursions will take you deep into the jungle for a natural adventure you just can’t get at home. Tropical birds, endangered species and all sorts of creepy-crawlies await your arrival.

Or cruise down the coast towards Tulum, an ancient vacation home for pre-Columbian Mayan royalty. Poised right on a cliff above the azure blue waters of the Caribbean, the temples of Tulum will make you feel like a famous adventurer discovering magical ruins for the first time.
